From the time I was very little, I enjoyed volunteering to help in any way I could. In school, I always was the one offering to watch the classroom while the teacher stepped out into the hallway to talk to a parent. I am the oldest of nine grandchildren (my younger ones ranging from 15-2) so I am six years older than the next in line. I always had to make sure to set a good example and be careful of anything I said or did.
When I was in third grade I started taking karate at The Boonton Karate Academy, and shortly after that I became an assistant instructor, and eventually progressed on to teaching the junior class before beginning my own workout in the adult class immediately after. - I am an only child with a very large extended family. My mother is a real estate and tax attorney, my father worked in homeland security. Throughout my entire life I had been involved in sports, in high school I was co-captain of my field hockey team. Summer of 2008 and 2009, I interned at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office in Morristown, NJ and during the Fall of 2008 I also interned at the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office in Trenton. While still exploring my career opportunities, I realize that I want to make a difference in people’s lives.
