Internship Experience

Being offered an internship at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office as a rising junior is something very uncommon for that particular office. I was very lucky to have received this internship, but even more fortunate to be able to work hands on in so many situations. During the summer of 2008, I worked closely with an Assistant Prosecutor in Domestic Violence, and also helped out tremendously in the Major Crimes Unit. My first day interning there, a major homicide case from 2002 was finally going to trial; I watched the entire trial first hand. While not in court, I read through cases, picked out important facts, put together trial binders, and even looked for discrepancies in police reports. Read More ...
